What are your top 3 questions/concerns (if you have any) for the football team as we prepare to go in to fall camp.

Mine are:

1. What will the 2 Deep look like for LB?
I think we were pleasantly surprised by the young LB corp's play during Spring Practice. Rainey and Lewis both made some noise and stepped up. We will have TJ and Cooper back for camp, so that will add some more depth. Golightly edged out Diggs for starting Spur. However, I'm curious to see how this 2 Deep changes with the new guys like Bryant and Moore, to go along with the injured guys back.

I'm past the point of being worried about the LB's, from what I saw in the Spring I know we have talent, now I just want to know who the 2 Deep guys are.

2. Will Cody Waldrop be able to step into his starting role as a RSFR, and snap the ball consistently while blocking well?
I think we'll find out by the end of camp, b/c if he can't do that, he won't be doing that job.

3. Who are the Punter and Place Kicker going to be?
I think it's still up in the air.

1. Height at WR. I don't think we can have a starting unit of Byrd, Ellington and Jones. Three WR under 5'10 will not cut it in this day and age. Whether it's Smith, Brent, Roland or Jeffrey, one of them has to make an impact this year for this offense to truly take off.

2. Line cohesion. I think we have the depth and talent on this unit to do great things. They have to move as one to make the offense purr.

3. Defensive identity. I know the DL and secondary will be solid, and I believe the LB unit has the talent to turn heads. But if they can come together with one purpose then the sky is the limit.

I am not worried about any unit really. QB is on lock with two solid starting caliber players at the head and talent backing them up. Our RB unit is insanely deep. Both Wilds and Davis have shown they can shoulder the load, but there is nothing but talent behind them going five deep after them. The pass catching unit is awesome with the WR and TE to cover the field. Both of our lines are both young and experienced, should be fun. LB is untested, to be sure, but there is loads of potential; if they can live up to it is the question. Two experienced Corners with great skills and youth behind them to keep them hungry. Safety could be another fun unit to watch with talent and experience. Special teams could be a crap shoot, but when is it not?

I think the key peices are there to make this a good year without these three things.... but with them... watch out.

1. Linebackers: I haven't been impressed with the LB unit for a while. Need assurance the new guys( Rainey & Lewis) are going to be able to step up and the proper time and adjustments have been made with them.

2. Special Teams: This is another typical issue. Have to quit letting squads return punts/kick off for 20 - 30 yards.

3. Wide Reciever: Who'll start and what will the rotation be. Obviously Thompson links up well with Jones and Byrd but I am curious to see who becomes Shaw's go to aside from Ellington.

2) What will the Shaw-Thompson QB rotation really look like? It'll be a Hootenanny... a whole lot of Hoot (Shaw) and a little bit of nanny (Thompson).

3) Will Spurrier go ahead and tell the team he is retiring and that this is his last season.....or will he keep it quiet until January after the BBVA Compass Bowl? He's going to announce a ten year contract extension after winning the SEC and BCS... he's having too much fun. Sorry, dowgie.
