That was pretty awesome. I am still baffled as to how Gross can dominate offensive linemen but hey... I'm not complaining

He probably won't be as effective early on this season because the word is out on him. He'll get a lot of attention and will end up in double teams a lot. Hopefully, once some of our other DL kids start coming on (RN, Hooks, Ward, Bennett, CJ, etc) he'll see fewer and fewer doubles and can be as disruptive as last season...

chub.

Ha a double team on the smallest nose tackle in the SEC while Lavon Hook's big arse gets a one on one... Yeah I'm giddy about this season

I don't wanna be "that" guy but our 2014 DL could be in contention for top 5 in the nation

ESPN says our '13 DL is top 10, so more than likely "that" guy will be ESPN.

It just hit me that all of the starters this year could be back for next year. Wow.

Hooks, Johnson, Nkemdiche, Gross, Ward (if he comes on like we expect him too) = salty motherfrickers

I need football to be here now. I can't wait to watch one of them boys up front knock the Jesus out of Vandy's quarterback.

Man I just have this vision of RN blindsiding David Ash in Austin.

Here's what went wrong there:
USC sent their back to chop UCLA's rush end. He did well enough. This freed up USC's LT to double team the nose guard with the LG. The C and RG slid right to block some blitzing linebacker while the RT was on an island against the DE (at this rate, I'm assuming UCLA runs a 3-4... I'm only working with a fricking pair of gifs here so if it's not perfect, oh well).

The LT done fricked up is what happened. He should have picked up the blitzing linebacker from the left. Instead he was staring straight at the nose tackle. You can see him looking right while the linebacker just waltzes into the backfield behind him. The SC quarterback is looking at his open tight end (who is open because of the blitzing linebackers) but doesn't get a throw off. He gets lit up like a Christmas Tree.

frickin shite I need this to happen to Vandy in a few weeks. But instead of just some sack, what I want is for CJ Johnson to make the sack and the ball goes flying in the air. Robert Nkemdiche gets it and is going towards the endzone. Then, for shits and giggles he throws it backwards (perfect spiral, duh) to Tony Conner who jukes like 9 guys into the endzone. They then run over to James Franklin and dump Vandy's Gatorade on his head becuase frick you it's the first quarter and now you losers don't have any more Gatorade.

I shouldn't have had coffee for lunch.
