The O line was NOT an asset last year. And I am not complaining about the players, I am complaining about the coaching. Bad recruiting and sub par coaching. 17 scholarship O lineman on the team and the coaching staff had confidence in only 8. A lot of players playing hurt and not the bumps and bruises kind of hurt. The kind of hurt they should not have been in there.

If you look on the SEC Rant on this site you will see that someone has put a link up that has 4 publications rankings of the SEC O lines for this year. The best ranking for MU is 11 and the worse is 14 (last). Let us not kid ourselves about our O line and how this coaching staff has not done a good job with it.

Not sure if you were responding to me or just responding in general, but I'm pretty much on the same page as you. I'm hoping with Henson taking over more control of the offense, things will change on the line. Add to that additional experience with some of the kids that wouldn't have otherwise been playing last year and I am hopeful that those kind of rankings don't have us dead last if they're done again at the end of the year.
