Bama- Shaun Alexander and isn't even close. Sit the first 2 years behind Dennis Riddle. Ran for 296 yds against LSU in his first significant playing time game, then carried like 3 times against MSU who we lost to 17-16 the next week.
Lots of people don't know this but this game and his misuse of Alexander pretty much ran Stallings off. Alexander was a horrible practice player and Gene, who was in a pinch because nobody else was any good still said if you don't practice, you don't play.

There's alot of horseshite on this site, but this is one of the biggest piles I've seen in a long, long time.
