Let me break it down for you since you keep missing the point. It's not the part where he changed his mind that makes him trash.
It's the part where he cloaked himself in a life threatening health condition that never existed in every media outlet that would print it. Bringing his family, religion, whatever else he could think of to garner sympathy and make himself look noble,knowing full well it was all horse shite.
That's why he's trash.
