Draconian, this is probably the stupidest argument in the history of sports debates. Yeah, if we didn't have our best player on the field, Heisman winning QB and SEC offense record setter, we probably would have lost a few more games. How long did it take you to come up with that frigging gem of intelligence?
If the Bulls didn't have Jordan they would have sucked.
If the Patriots didn't have Brady they would have sucked.
If the Oilers didn't have Gretzky they would have sucked.
If it wasn't for Billy Cannon, LSU would have sucked. (literally, you would have lost 5 games in 1958)
Yadda, yadda, yadda.
So yeah, if we didn't have Manziel we would have sucked. Anything else you want to add twinkle toes?
