Thread title should read "LSU quickly becoming biggest drama queens in the SEC".

Or better yet: "Arkansas quickly becoming the most irrelevant in the SEC"

I think people are developing hate for Aggies do to early success. If A&M sucked nobody would care.

While I think A&M is a little ahead of itself - they need to get two deep EVERYWHERE to stay in the top half of SEC They got there now because of JFF and D stepped up and OL. JFF will hide defensive weaknesses this year but D could be a problem.

The thing is, I believe people are realizing with the recruiting success so far, with the 450,000,000 stadium expansion, that A&M has the tools to compete with Bama, LSU, Fla and Ga. When A&M came to SEC they left behind the old baggage in the administration and power in doners. That is why you see all the branding and a different feel. A&M always was thought to be the sleeping giant. They are waking up and running a football program now.

Yes - as far as the tools - A&M can hang with the top 5. Whether or not they will is yet to be determined - but they have the tools to do so and everybody sees that.

In my mind it will be determined by DL and DB recruting. I think Sumlin will crush offensive recruiting. Allen is lighting up the elite 11. Defensive recruiting is good as well SO FAR.

What A&M doesnt understand yet is how difficult it is to keep that level of recruiting, developing, reloading, coaching, crisis mgmt, etc... Its amazing how many NFL guys have come through LSU and Bama in last decade - its sick. I dont know if even Bama and LSU can keep it up. But A&M will have to show they can build it up and keep it going. Long way to go.
