I just posted this over on da coon's message board when they were referring to how Perkins and others only like Oxford to party and get pussy, but Starkville is a much better place for families. Poor things

Stopped there last Thursday on my way to Memphis...stayed the night with a friend. The people there had me worried. I guess I wasn't a local. Got a lot of stares. Reminded me of that show Moonshiners.

I will say....Hwy 72 is the easiest drive I've ever taken going to Memphis. I live in Valdosta, GA. I made it to Iuka in less than 7hrs. And then made it to Memphis is less than 2hrs from Iuka. I may be stopping in Iuka more often. Maybe you folks will remember me.

Oh I was just joking I'm not from there but I'm from Memphis myself.

You're right Iuka to Memphis is real easy, question do you usually go 78 and was it any longer/shorter going 72 you?

Finally were you a KA and a freshman in 2006?

I take 280 from Albany, GA to Birmingham and usually take 78 to Memphis. It usually takes close to 9.5hrs.

This time I took 65 north to Cullman, AL and took 157 to 72 in Muscle Shoals. That was such a quick drive. It is all 4 lane. Then 72 to Memphis which took no time. Only thing is...I got turned around where 72 turned into Poplar.

All together it knocked the drive down by 30mins.

No. I was a Freshman in 2004. Didn't pledge. But partied with KAs a lot.
