Knew we were going to try and had a good chance on this...

Should have a solid core group back next year if they develop at the same rate they did from the beginning of last year until the end...

Looking forward to seeing Rick Ray basketball with a full 2-deep and actual point guard...think we could surprise some people...

Why?

We should be a .500 team this year with a full roster of contributors -- and if we're not, I will be disappointed. I'm not "tempering" them -- just sticking with the expectations I had for him initially, which was:

Survive year 1 by any means necessary.
Get to around .500 by year 2.
Make the postseason in year 3, NIT is fine.
Compete for NCAAs from then on out.

Really in year 3, my expectation of Ray becomes identical to my expectation for Stans...maybe year 4 depending on how little things go...

We could be so so in division play.

I don't really know what Texas A&M is losing/gaining. I know they lost their best player Elston Turner.

Auburn is Auburn

LSU will be better

Anyone with any sort of inside presence should do ok against Ole Miss.

Alabama is a mess right now.
