I honestly think having NBA players on your roster is overrated. It definitely helps recruiting, but college basketball is about coaching and getting the right players for your system and getting them to buy in. We mentioned Florida, which is a great example. Also guys like Rick Pitino (at Louisville) and Tom Izzo have not set the world on fire with NBA talent recently.

I honestly think all 3 of those are pretty bad examples. They are in the same boat as Bama football. They get players to the league but what they do when they get there is on them. Teams like Butler and VCU. What about that FGCU team. THey all showed that it isn't about talent.
