I hope so. I love his left-handed hook shot, but his casper defense and lack of anything else beneficial to the team kind of pissed me off last year. I have a forgiving heart, but if he resorts back to his fatass ways, I'll turn on him quickly.
I wonder how the swede is doing? Before his injury last year, he looked like a serviceable 7-footer and not quite as inept on the offensive end that he was his 1st 2 years.

In that rarely informative ask a question thing on twitter, William Lee said that Justin's commitment did indeed impact him, but that it wasn't a surprise. He also said he'll decide in November. And that Emily was the prettiest white girl at DC.

He's going to easily be our best post player. I've heard our new strength coach has put him in great shape as well. I look for him to have a big year and you start to like him.
I dont hate him, just sometimes he looks like a ok player and other times im like WTF. If he is starting over Kessens when he becomes eligible Kessens is some bullshite.

Alabama rescinded Norris's offer per Evan Daniels
Riley Norris was once a top target for Alabama. But after the July period has decided to rescind his offer. 'Bama will be looking in other directions for a wing prospect.

WTF just happened? Something tells me this is some off-the-court issue, but everything I've heard is that he's a good kid...

All because of Pratt I bet. Our staff wanted this public though. Ill try to find out more

Im confused as hell about this. What are our other wing prospects? We dont have too many 3 guys. I really wanted a smart player rather than just athletes.

For as tight lipped as Grant is I find it interesting he made this public.

@D_Mitch23: Official 8 (no order)
Kansas St
Memphis
Wake Forest
UAB
Alabama
UGA
Cincinnati
Ole Miss
From scout: Mitchell said he knows of four schools that he would like to visit officially.
“Kansas State for sure,” he said. “Wake Forest for sure and Alabama for sure and Cincinnati too.”

Coleman just committed the other day and he's the epitome of a smart player.

So who do y'all think will be the 4th target now that Norris is out?
I'm hoping for someone with some length, but I don't know of any that we're after. We're keeping tabs on TJ Lang, but most don't think he is high-major quality. Holston would be nice, but he's only 6'4". The kid reminds me a little of Ray Allen with how well he moves off-ball to get the open 3 though, which would be a huge asset.

We dont for sure have 4 spots do we. I think if we Lee and a wing we are good.
Posted on 8/2/13 at 4:49 pm to Tide or Die87
We only have 3 spots, but I think we get 4. Grant can't keep banking on everyone staying.

Coleman
Mitchell
Lee
Turman
I want us to have a big roster that can rebound since it has become clear that we are never going to be an up tempo team.

Mitchell on each team:
Kansas State – “I like the conference that they are in, Coach Weber and his offense, the whole motive of their team, and the structure of it.”
Memphis – “Coach Pastner and I have built a good relationship over time. I feel really comfortable with their staff, and they have a need for a scorer too.”
Wake Forest – “They have a need for what I can do and what I can bring to the table. I took an unofficial there.”
UAB – “Joining a big class and coming in with a lot of freshman. We can kind of come in and finish out together. Along with the coaching staff. They have been recruiting me longer than anyone else.”
Alabama – “One of my close friends is committed there, Justin Coleman, so it would be great to play with him. They have the need for scorers too. A good opportunity to go and play in the SEC early.”
UGA – “Another school that has been recruiting me for awhile. I like seeing what the coaches are doing.”
Cincinnati – “They are really in need of a shooter. They really don’t have anyone that can shoot the ball right now.”
Ole Miss –“Coach Kennedy and his offense. Just kind of how he used Marshall Henderson this year. I can really see myself running his offense and being able to play early in the SEC under Coach Kennedy.”

Wow. I haven't even heard of the kid until now. Maybe this one can dunk?

Central Park is Darien Knox's school I think. That's probably why we've never heard of the kid.
