Is it best to wait and buy tickets outside the gate for the championship series game? Any advice on tickets would be great.

I also have this same question. I have my seats ready for Monday night but do I need to go ahead and buy mine for Tuesday?

I need them for both nights.

Buy them from the fans of UNC if they lose tonight, or whoever loses the game tomorrow night if UNC wins this one tonight.
They'll have some for sale at the box office on Monday, but they go fast. After that you are at the mercy of the scalpers outside the stadium although there will be people out there selling their tickets ... it's hit and miss.

Can you still buy general admission day of?

Sadly, will not be up there until Sunday Night. Thus trying to formulate the best plan.

There will be some General Admission tickets available the day of, but not many and they go fast.
A lot of fans of teams that lose early, sell their books to scalpers before they leave unless they find a fan from another school who wants to buy them.
Some fans from losing teams stick around with tickets from their party who have already left ... they'll sell you their remaining tickets just to have decent fans sitting next to them.
There will be tickets available for all the games, you just gotta get there early and be willing to be patient for the right deal. I've always heard the best time to buy the ticket is after the first inning ... they go cheap then, or so I've been told.

Thanks scrooster, I don't mind paying above face value, so it's looking like I should be able to find tickets from scalpers.

Buy general admission and go sit in either left or right field. That's where you're going to have the most fun and experience the true atmosphere of Omaha and the CWS. Get there about 4-5 hours before they open the gate to get a seat on the front row of the outfield fence. Trust me, the wait is worth it. Plus you meet a lot of cool people sitting out there waiting for the gates to open.
