Try using the NCAA's official site next time.

You're still wrong

NCAA recognized titles (football) and not the same as NCAA sanctioned.... ie actual NCAA titles.

polls and the BCS award the natty in football, since the NCAA does not award the trophy, they can only recognize it, but it will never be an D1 NCAA title.

EXAMPLE. Until 2013, the University of Alabama had 0 NCAA titles in Men's Athletics, but 15 claimed football titles, 13 of which are recognized by the NCAA

The 1960 college football season marked the last time that the University of Minnesota was a national champion on the gridiron. Murray Warmath's Minnesota Gophers were not in the Top 20 in preseason polling, but received the AP Trophy at the end of the regular season. During the 20th century, the NCAA had no playoff for the college football teams that would later be described as "Division I-A." The NCAA did recognize a national champion based upon the final results of "wire service" (AP and UPI) polls.

So, are you saying Alabama only has one National Championship in football?
