What is so funny about this?
Oklahoma won the Big 12 Tournament this season and advanced to a super regional for the second straight year. The Sooners are three years removed from a College World Series appearance under Golloway, who has led them to the postseason in eight of nine seasons.

He is really no better than Pawlowski. The Big 12 this year was garbage and he had two excellent pitchers (one may have been the most talented in the nation) yet they went 13-11 in the league before the postseason. Three of the four teams OU beat in the conference tournament were trash. The Sooners were then gifted the easiest regional a traveling two seed could hope to face (three opponents who were about the same as them, at best).
Golloway has a consistent track record, but he is old and leaving his familiar recruiting area. He is also not terribly likable personally. I doubt he can do much at Auburn and, most importantly, you have to wonder what his real motives are to leave OU.
