OM is my darkhorse this year. I'm predicting them to beat LSU and aTm is a push simply because the game came down to that 4th and 2 (stupid call by Freeze with the HB it should have been a QB sneak) and aTm lost more than OM. OM will be either 2nd or 3rd in the West.

I have 3 hopes for this team:

1. Beat Vandy

2. Finish 4th or better in the West

3. Break the losing streak in Starkville

If we accomplish those 3 things I think you see Ole Miss sign another top 10 class... There's no shame in finishing 4th behind Bama, aTm and LSU... Especially considering where this program was just a year and a half ago.

I just want Ole Miss to be competitive in the west maybe start to be known as the giant killer and I really want us to win a national championship before I die. Is this to much to ask for? I know all of us as Ole Miss fans have been through dark times but i truly believe Freeze is one of those coaches that comes once in a life time. He will get it done at the U of M. Hotty Toddy

That streak is very strange. I love a rivalry where the home team is usually favored even if they have a worse record. Makes things way more interesting.

Easily, the most realistic and level-headed hopes I have heard from an Ole Miss fan yet. Y'all will be good, but fans predicting 9+ wins is just farfetched and ridiculous.

I was thinking more like 12-1. Loss to Bama.

As in personal connections to Rebel fans. I have seen a couple on here though.

Best case scenario is 9-3. WAOM so we never experience a best case scenario so my prediction is 8-4

I said 7-5. 8-4 is definitely possible. 9 is unrealistic. Most of the posters on here do a good job about the expectations. The one thing that chaps my arse is when a fan base expects to beat a team after they played them close the year before. That doesn't just apply to y'all vs. LSU. Every year is a new year, and you still have to play the games.

Agreed. I think we will beat LSU just because I think we matchup very well against them and it'll be at the Vaught. You never know though, anything can happen
