You're completely ignoring how statistically unlikely, even if you are favored in every game, it is to go undefeated. Other teams losing wasn't lucky. It was mathematically expected.
ISU over Okie Light was a massive upset. Baylor over KSU was a massive upset. Both ISU and Baylor were mediocre at best and Baylor even had a losing record at the time.
A&M over Bama was an upset sure but both were top 15 teams.
Never mind that Bama had already lost first in both instances. Sorry but Bama was extremely lucky that they got to play in their last two Nattys. Do deny that is ridiculous.

Oh sorry, I assumed that since you have A&M flair and they're so superior to Bama academically that you might have some grasp of basic statistics. :/
