They like to think so too and are quick to say so but what they really are is the most arrogant fanbase in the SEC and have been for as long as I can remember. Mean, bitter, and yet certain in their superiority over their lessers (anyone who didn't go to Candy) is the typical Vandy fan. They've been the only fans I've encountered during gamedays that weren't polite and friendly. Even during the bitterest moments of the Bama and Florida rivalries each school's fans were nice save for a few drunks every school has but not Vandy fans.

Franklin has only enhanced this by winning more than 2 games but they have been this way as a whole for decades.
