Yea that's my worries, its the first time I've seen them do that before and hope its the last. I can handle the dog that's not my main worry I just hate those frickers tearing up my grass.


Where about in Gainesville do you live?

Do NOT set traps or razor wire or barbed wire. But, if you have a water drainage problem at the area where this butthead is entering your property,(or if you think you might someday have a drainage problem)here is how to solve this drainage problem.
Dig a trench about 6 inches deep and one foot wide across the entire stretch just inside your property line (and beside the Do Not Enter - No Tresspassing signs. Get some ground cloth and fit it across the drainage trench and stake it in place securely with tent pegs.
Next, take some sod and place across the ground cloth to make your lawn aesthetically pleasing to the neighbors. You should have only one or two drainage issues after this.
As for the dog, get a water blaster, fill it with ammonia or lemon juice, and soak his face a couple of times. He will find another deck to sleep on.

Check with the local police and ask what your rights are for a dangerous dog that comes in your yard. Then you will know if it is legal for you to shoot it if you feel threatened.
