8 teams make the CWS.
10 make BCS bowls.
So, at the very least, LSU baseball has done the equivalent of making it to 16 BCS level bowls since 1986, including 6 National Titles with a shot at another still on the board
No college football team can come CLOSE to matching that.
In basketball it's the equivalent of 16 trips to the elite eight with 6 (maybe 7) titles since 1986
Again, no college basketball team can come close to matching that.
Time for everyone to

No one is arguing, LSU is the cream of the crop when it comes to baseball.

Trolls?
Also, doesn't change the fact that college baseball is unbelievably small and was beat out in attendance by NCAA hockey this year.
Reminds me of the track threads, ton of success, but a pretty lackluster sport and few actually care, especially around the country.

Well in the SEC, the best conference in the country, it is undeniably a big deal.

Drac, with all due respect, you didn't HAVE to put it in perspective. We know man.... We know. Anyone trying to dispute LSU as the SEC baseball king is trolling.

Not just the SEC baseball king
The king of all major SEC sports and the king of college baseball
The king of all major SEC sports and the king of college baseball

One is not like the others. Might as well start the same thread about dominance by Auburn swimming, Arkansas track, Alabama and UGA gymnastics, etc. Go to any major city in the country besides NOLA and I guarantee you 19 out of 20 people could not name a single player who played LSU baseball since 1986.
