Alabama won their bowl game in 1941. LSU didn't and LSU got shut out in a championship game that their school agreed to the rules. Different era; different rules.

And Alabama was voted national champions 28 times, though they don't count them all. Should I list them?

What are these "rules" to which you refer? The ones you make up as you go along?

Do you mean to tell me that LSU can't accept a award from an organization besides the BCS for the college football national championship?

Did Alabama accept the AP award for the 2011 season? Wouldn't that be against those same rules?

Do you really think that Alabama's 1941 Houlgate claim is outside of the AP era from 1936 - present?
