You don't know the facts. LSU DID pay to cancel the series according to the terms of the contract which stated that a certain amount of money would be required to cancel the series, but that amount would be reduced if a suitable replace team was found. LSU produced the suitable replacement team and paid the reduced amount. the only beef the Aggies had was that they thought they should be paid the full amount because they disagreed that USL was a suitable replacement - and then proceeded to lose to the team they deemed unsuitable. A fricking theater of the absurd you guys run over there.

yea b/c ULaLa brings the same money and TV possibilities as LSU.

Wait, so you are saying LSU is equal ULaLa? You think that lowly of LSU?

That was covered by the part of the cancellation fee that LSU paid.

No, USL was probably the better team that year.

Jake Delhomme and Brandon Stokley were on that Cajun team, both of which played in Superbowls. BTW, I have credits on my transcript from USL, so yeah, I claim them too (UNO as well).

But yeah, aggies argue that USL wasn't suitable becuase they actaully beat A&M. I guess this makes sense to people that have spent their whole lives convincing themselves that a loss to Texas is a win.

And look, y'all still have sand in your vaginas over that. You guys really give LSU fans a run for their money in the Whining Sweepstakes. Congrats.
