And do you realize that we tried to get something done but couldn't?

We had to buy out our original (and only) FCS game with McNeese State on Sept 1 just to get an away game in Shreveport with La Tech. There just were no schools willing or able to work with us last year with the dates we had open.



Well, yeah, if aTm waited six months (as you have suggested) before trying to make a change, then I guess they wouldn't. Or maybe you weren't offering them enough money.

So Sam Houston State wasn't already on the schedule when you bought out McNeese?

nope

it also took until mid February just to get Arky and Jerry (mostly Jerry) to let us have the A&M/Arky game as a 2 year home and home.

Had they not worked with us (thanks again Piggies ) we would have been stuck with just 5 home games.
