Vote to keep 8 game schedule was 13-1
Lol at claiming it makes the conference better.

Just don't schedule shite teams.

Its really not that hard.

Oh really? Go back and look at everyone's schedules for Nov. 17 last year. Every single SEC team was playing either another SEC team or an FCS team, except Missouri, which was finishing a home and home commitment with Syracuse. Seven SEC teams played FCS teams on that day because there was literally no one else to play. Other conferences were playing in-conference games. The SEC should have been also.

It's damn hard when there's no one else to play.

so now this is why we all play FCS? Because no one will play that weekend? Gee, wouldn't it be easier to just make it a conference weekend then? You don't need 9 games to do that (LSU-A&M is scheduled for that weekend this year). There are even 2 bye weeks to work with this year. Make that a bye week if you can't find an opponent worth a shite. You are using one of your byes on 9/7 when anyone would play. Saban decided the extra week of prep for A&M was more important than playing a real opponent.

Saban specifically said we need to go to 9-games to improve SOS. Meanwhile, he gets to hand-select opponents for 4 games a year and always selects 3 complete and total patsies. If he really believed SOS is important, he wouldn't do so. He's merely trolling you bama fans and, based on his actions rather than words, probably even voted against this since it wasn't a public vote.

What kind of bs half truth is this shite? You know damn well the only reason those all happened around the same time is every SEC school likes to have a late season breather. There is nothing forcing any school to play an OOC game so late in the year.

Every other conference gets most of their OOC out of the way early unless it's a rivalry game. Get outta here with that lame arse logic. The only justifiable excuse for getting stuck with shite teams is b/c somebody canceled on you or b/c you join a new conference with a team that was one of your OOC games.

Otherwise NOTHING forces you to schedule an FCS team that late in the year. SEC schools do it because THEY WANT TO, not because they have to.
