You post on The Shack way to much, BTW, moving to COMO isn't a great idea if you've got a SoCal girl on your hands.
Trust me. I've been down that road.
Yeah, I read The Shack like an addiction.

No such thing, plus...I'm almost 14 years in with only twice as many posts as here. What's your TB name? You should participate if you don't. Good times.
She's NorCal, but I know it's a losing proposition. I was drunk when I even made it sound like a possibility.

I can't post my TB handle on here. Lets just say I know SoCal women, and leave it at that.

Shut down the Mizzou flame thread dead in its tracks with three posts and stopped an Arky infiltrator on the Help Board (who's actually probably okay) from posting on the Mizzou board. It's been a successful night.
I didn't ask for the war, but I'm here to fight and win it.
ETA: The bad thing is that someone will bump the thread (probably one of ours) tomorrow morning and it will start all over again.

I appreciate that you fight the good fight. I only sit and watch from afar.
Soon, ye shall board the Flagship, unwieldy as she may be, she shall be your trophy. Bask yourself in the glory, the Armada is behind you and has already set to sail. Expect to fight until September time, for until then the the almighty reign will be yours.
Upon thee a ship will be on the horizon.

KC...what's going on with the Royals this year? I haven't followed them closely this year, and I know spring training is just spring training, but I really though KC might do something this year. Lack of pitching? Bats? Fielding? Some combination?

Well for one, we are the Royals. I was born after 1985 (which is also the last time we even MADE the playoffs) and I have become completely convinced we will never make it back there again. So simply the fact that we are the Kansas City Royals is what's going on this year.
Besides that, we started spring training and the first 27 games of the season with solid pitching and good hitting and went 17-10. However, since then, the pitching his been average but the hitting his been awful, and I mean AWFUL. I would estimate our team average is around .250, which for a team average, is horrendous.
Our manager is a complete imbecile, and I will say no more about that, besides that the brewers fired him in the midst of a playoff run FOR GOOD REASON.
Oh, and did I mention we are the Royals? We will never see prosperity. With a burning passion I hate fair weather fans, but I can't take it much longer with the royals. I can support a BAD team who is trying. I don't know if
I can support a CONSISTENTLY bad team who fails to improve year after year. I may, MAY, jump ship and either stop following MLB, or God forbid, become a Cardinals fan....as long as David Glass and his family own this franchise, I just can't do it.
I told myself this year, with all the hype,(and I mean playoff caliber team hype), if we didnt finish at least .500, I would give up on this organization. Well, we're well on our way to finishing below .500, and I refuse to accept this any longer. It is embarrassing and ridiculous to be this horrible for almost 30 years. The Royals have about 100 games to keep my support, and the way it looks, they'll be losing it pretty quick. Unfortunately, that won't make a difference, for as long as David Glass turns a profit, he's a happy camper.

I may be in the same boat as you shortly. I love the Cardinals BUT if the national league goes to the DH, I may be done. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to baseball and wasn't much of a fan of interleague play, though I've come to accept it. To me, it's not just the fact I think using a DH isn't real baseball, it is. I just appreciate the differences between the American League and National League style of play and seeing how the teams adjust to the other style of play when they meet at years end.
