Both to the RPI and apparently to what the selection committee looks for. But yeah, my guess is they saw teams using OOC as days off for their starters and didn't like that very much. But when you look at our OOC schedule, it's not like we scheduled a bunch of cupcakes, it's just the teams that we scheduled didn't really turn out to be as good as they traditionally are.

Guess it depends on the situation. Florida would have never made it in if not for their SOS even though they played bad (by Florida standards). Arky had a plenty good enough year to get in but the SOS cost you a host.
