One game in Houston on opening Saturday has the ability to change the entire perception around MSU back to positive.

We'll be a better team than we were last year. Probably won't see it in records, but will see it in the nature of the games played and the end of year statistics. Bookmark it and let me know when I'm wrong.

Still think that the year we move up am actual tier is 2014 -- in the new stadium with the first true dual threat in the starting lineup and a lineup full of 4th and 5th yr players.

Well, you're definitely right about that. If MSU beats OSU then I'd expect your team to get a week of relief from the rant. Maybe even two weeks.

On the other hand I think the only people here who reasonably expect MSU to beat OSU are 100% MSU fans.

FWIW, I'd love to be wrong about that game.
