You've kind of just got to try and do what is right and if there is a fair and just god you'll be fine. If god isn't fair and just did you really want to worship him anyways.

There have been times when I wanted to leave it all behind but there have also been times when I believe God saved my life. Sure, it could be that I'm underestimating my own humanity and power within but I choose to believe in God. If I get to the end and it was all bullshite, I will have still lived my life in a way that honored my family and those around me.

Bible-thumpers and most religious folks in the the South can kiss my arse though. There are so many obviously wretched views of God (Westboro, KKK, etc.) and it's easy to tell when they're full of shite and when there just might be something more.
