We lost a basketball game and the Governor's Cup.

I forgot about the governors cup. We are 6-1 in games in which counted in the SEC standings

They came into Oxford with a MUCH better baseball team than us... No way are we supposed to beat them both games of a double header without Wahl twirling a gem... Everyone is always quick to play the choke card when it comes to OM baseball.. Cohen's team fricking choked today.. Plain and simple... A lot can happen between now and the end of the SEC tourney.. But if they aren't hosting a Regional in 3 weeks, May 11 is gonna be a big reason why.

I think we also see a glimpse of what this team is capable of. You can't put it ALL on state. Our guys TCOB at the plate when they had to today. I do see what you're saying though and that's what makes this series win all the more sweeter

They had the #10 RPI in the country coming into today's game... Their baseball team pretty much does everything better than us on paper... They hit for avg, hit with RISP, pitch, field... The games aren't played on paper obviously as we saw today but MSU has a better baseball team than us... Like Tupelo Reb said, that just makes today that much sweeter.

Don't stoop to their level, we're 6-2 against them. I would say 7-1 had we won the Governor's Cup, but we didn't.
