The difference in state and OM numbers is the 12 mil Seal gave.

That money was pledged and went on our "books" in 2011. LINK

Now, we could have logically extrapolated it over it's entire payment period(3-5 years) with the amount that we actually have in hand on any given year.

We followed 2011's $37.6mil(25.6 without the Seal gift) with $32mil more in 2012. LINK /

That family is going to shell that out each year?

We've got Seal and Mize names on practically every major big3 athletics initiative of the past 10+ years. As long as there's something to build in that regard, I imagine they'll be right there with their checkbooks giving whatever is required to put their name on it in some way -- and Dudy Noble is on the horizon.

The only thing that has changed from having a reported 38mil 3 years ago to 68mil is reporting your contributions and licensing.

We've added CGA's to both basketball and football season tickets as a constant fundraising initiative -- as well as increased prices in season tickets. We reseated the Hump a few years back and will reseat Davis Wade in 2014. Just the new premium seating donations will be worth about $5mil/yr total before figuring prices of actual tickets. Our current licensing contracts are shite all around -- all had to be negotiated in 08 when Byrne first got here and had bigger fish to fry with almost concurrent football and baseball hires and basically all 3 programs being shite. I look for that to improve dramatically in the future as apparel is being renegotiated this year, Learfield obviously goes away in 2014, etc...

Your ticket sales in a revenue stand point are higher than they have ever been so im not sure this years basketball season is even reported.

They are still reported as part of the total pie -- and the decrease in both season ticket sales and actual attendance is simply shown as a loss in my first quote. Those seats will all fill back up eventually.

I just think $85 mil is a logical goal for us beginning in 2014. Doesn't mean that we make it -- just that it's a logical goal that takes us from way the hell behind everyone else to just outside of striking distance of the next tier...
