Yet no one ever kicks their arse because people are afraid of lawsuits.
People just stand there and hold hands and then say "Look what WE did, we stopped Westboro from picketing, hooray us."
Then the next week, Westboro just goes down the road and pickets somewhere else and everyone flips out. Rinse and repeat.

I'm really shocked that none of these people have been killed yet. Its just a matter of time before they show up at the wrong funeral, and an unstable member of the family being protested goes nuts and kills a few of them.
Really, I think it would be pretty easy to get away with car-bombing them. All you have to do is find out their schedule, plant the bomb under one or both of their vans, and you could be 300 miles away by the time it goes off. Millions of people have a motive for murdering them, and I seriously doubt the authorities are going to look that much into it.
