We develop new traditions. Move forward and stop looking backwards. We work on making a Ole Miss that is living in 2013. Not in its past.

There are so many other things that are "Ole Miss" The Grove, the Walk of Champions, A baseball environment second to none.

Bjork said it best:“They asked people to love those traditions for a long time, and to take them away stings,” Bjork says. “But now we’ve got to create some new atmospheres, some new identity around our program.”

You still haven't addressed the question though. At what point do you draw the line? How is the current traditions in place now still harmful to Ole Miss?

You can't completely sever ties to the past of your University and develop all new traditions. That's such a silly notion. Bjork is right in creating a new identity, but I sincerely doubt he's talking about removing every last inkling of what has made Ole Miss, Ole Miss. You're once again taking extremes.

Again I say, it's not evolving it's hiding. I will never agree with that line of thinking as long as I live.
