Ask any American what they think of when you say Dixie and 90% will say the South or Old South...
If we got rid of Dixie how would that change ANYTHING about Ole Miss. Please tell me how that would hurt the University.... I'll wait.

Because it is just another step in trying to slowly strip Ole Miss of everything that makes it Ole Miss.

Yeah, let's burn our entire heritage. Lets get rid of Grits, the Blues, and basically anything that identifies us as being different from the rest of the US. God forbid we stand out in some way.
