I wouldnt have lost any sleep if they got rid of Dixie. Personally I dont wish I was in the land of cotton. I'd be picking it...
Personally though I think Dixie is a beautiful song. BUT if getting rid of the song because of the negative connotation that the song carries helps the school then I'm all for it. Just like I was for getting rid of confederate flags at games, and just like I didnt care that they got rid of Col. Reb. If you are a grown man losing sleep over such petty things then you have issues.

You're what's wrong with our university. Being ok with giving up a song that literally has 0 ties to the old south. That's a bitch way to go.
