) And its not always a 50K car. some are just a used ford taurus with a shitty custom paint job. The schools/coaches themselves dont always know about it, nor do they want until someone starts acting careless

You're acting like I think athletes aren't getting preferred treatment. I realize "special deals" might be done for them to get these cars. But I also realize that expensive cars aren't just being given to them. In a technological, social media world you're not getting away with 1980s tactics.
