Bama was still #1 in total defense and PPG given up last year. If you take out the Georgia and A&M games (aka the only two great offenses you played) you YPG average drops from 250 to almost 200, only slightly higher than the 2011 number when you didnt play any statistically great offenses.
This idea that Bamas defense was so much better in 2011 is misleading, because against similar average to bad offenses both '11 and '12 did similar things. Its just that you didnt face Manziel in 2011.

No, just no. The 2011 defense would have made JFF quit football for life, thanks for clearing up that you only saw highlights or one or two games from 2011, because watching that defense for 13 games no one can deny it's top ten all time.
