You (and others) act as if only Alabama can improve from last years matchup

No I don't, but I believe you know how good the 2011 Defense was, this one will rival it. Your offense will obviously be improved in many aspects, you lose your top two backs, don't you? Or is one of them back, I don't remember. You lose Swope, but Evans is a stud. Jake is the only proven first rounder on your OL, this "three future first rounders" thing some of you spout needs more time before you can go around saying it. Meanwhile our front seven will be far better than last season, and you lose Moore and a good bit more up front on D last I checked.

Brandon Williams and Tra Carson are eligible this year. A&M's rushing attack will be the best in the conference. No doubt. I know we rushed for more yards per game than Alabama last year, and we will be so much more lethal this year running the ball it won't be fair.

But we have to take Alabama fans at their word when assessing future draft spots for linemen, but our assessment needs time? Gumps be gumpin.

Bama was still #1 in total defense and PPG given up last year. If you take out the Georgia and A&M games (aka the only two great offenses you played) you YPG average drops from 250 to almost 200, only slightly higher than the 2011 number when you didnt play any statistically great offenses.

This idea that Bamas defense was so much better in 2011 is misleading, because against similar average to bad offenses both '11 and '12 did similar things. Its just that you didnt face Manziel in 2011.
