He wanted to go 3-3 so bad. He's 9 and was nervous as hell. First year of kid pitch for him this summer.
He's been making some nice strides in baseball over the past two years. Most important thing is he loves playing ball.
My side of the family are all Tiger fans but we live near my wife's side and they're all Razorbacks, especially his 13 yr old first cousin. He idolizes that boy.

Well, if its any consolation, my oldest nephew is surrounded by Razorback fans but has chosen to go for LSU because of his momma. (I keep telling him he's a momma's boy)
Your boy showed impressive effort making the catch on the second throw. For those who didn't see, he backpedaled and basically fell back on the ground, almost doing a full roll-over to make the catch. It was some of the best effort I've seen in the Arvest fly-ball contest, ever. It was obvious that he wanted it badly.
