OK, I will. In 2004, LSU had the best coach in football, the best talent in the country, and their first title in almost 50 years.

in 2004 we were 9-3 (another 3 loss season) with a bowl loss to Iowa

I would say it's pretty fricking obvious.

In 2004, you were the defending champs, with the players on your roster to win another and one of the greatest coaches in the history of sports on your sideline. now he coaches for big brother, and there's not a player on your roster who has won a 'ship. I don't need my helmet to know when you were better off.

and who says LSU is likely 3rd or 4th in the west? uhh, pretty much everybody dude. A&M and Bama are the hot teams in the projections this year. this is what I'm talking about. literally everybody knows that, but here I am, having to explain it to a loyal reader of the tiger rant. Geaux Tigers!

I would think LSU will be picked at least third at media days.

But it's pretty funny how satchel uses the same tired arguments time and time again and is able to rile up the same posters, time and time again.
