It definitely should. But we all know what happens to the ACC schools when June rolls around.

If you look at the stats(since there is no real comparisons at this point) North Carolina is a better team Statistically. They have a better team ERA and a better team batting average. The ACC is considered to be just as strong as the SEC. If North Carolina doesn't loose today I doubt LSU would take over #1 position.
