It's up to Brandon Woodruff.

So if he pitches well against Alcorn State and Austin Peay do you give him the start against Florida?

If Evan has two bad outings, then yes. I just don't think Woody is going to get it together by then.

One of them has to get it together for us to be successful this year. Period.

If Woodruff can put it together we have a really really good weekend rotation.

Mitchell gave up ONE hit Saturday. He did walk a few, and clearly needs to work on his location. However, it is not time to pull the plug on him yet, he is not far off from being top 2 or 3 in the SEC.

Yeah, Saturday was more on the defense behind him.

I hope he can come around. I became a fan after he won that big game for us in the ATL regional 2 years ago.

He def has a big league arm but JV control.

Too many arm injuries -- he's practically made of glass. How many starts did he make last year before going on the DL?

He's perfect in his current role as setup man IMO. If we can continue to get 2 innings out of him twice a weekend, that will be huge for us going forward...

ANd charged with about 6 runs. There is the problem.

Sometimes it seems like Cohen doesn't even really consider defense when he is recruiting these infielders.
