What is a Longhorn doing on an SEC board?

Until another QB wins the Heisman, you cannot put any other except Manziel at #1 for now.

After that it doesn't really matter

they are a run first team. It has to do with Saban's philosophy on what he wants his team's offenses to do. He could have Joe Montana at QB and still have a run first offense.
