What's the latest on Jacob lindgren?

He got hit pretty hard on the line drive last Friday. Is he good to go for the series opener?

They are being coy about just how "good to go" he is for this weekend...but the injury was definitely not serious.

Yeah I can imagine we won't know till right before the game starts on Friday. May even see him start with someone else and yank him at the first sign of inconsistency and trot Lingren out from the bullpen

according to Cohen he long-tossed and threw a pen yesterday. Seems good to go. Rea, on the other hand, is likely out for this weekend.

yeah, quad injuries can be nagging if you don't get ample rest. Hopefully we have him back in a couple weeks.
