I don't think it's fair to look at Noel's per game averages, such as blocks per game, because those could have gone down over the course of games he missed. However, his raw numbers were so great that it's hard not to consider him for DPOY. I don't mind debating who else is deserving, but have no problem with Noel actually getting it.

True. Could've also gone up as well given the pace he was working at (and unfortunately he was improving at the time of his injury too).

I don't mind either. But it's ridiculous that I'm getting called a homer because I think he still deserves it. So far we have an Ole Miss fan and a Mizzou fan who seems to agree. Guess you all must be big UK homers too along with the majority of the coaches in the SEC.

Even if he didn't record a single block the rest of the season he still would have finished in the top 5 in the country.
