Based on the top 15 batters in BA and evaluating other criteria:

INDIVIDUAL BATTING
Min 2.5 AB/Team game G Avg AB R H RBI 2B 3B HR BB
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alex Detz-MS.............. 15 .475 40 12 19 17 5 1 0 15
Mikey Reynolds-AM......... 14 .463 54 11 25 10 2 0 0 6
LB Dantzler-SC............ 12 .462 39 12 18 15 3 0 4 12
Stuart Turner-UM.......... 14 .447 47 10 21 20 7 1 2 4
J.T. Riddle-UK............ 12 .440 50 14 22 12 3 1 1 5
Adam Frazier-MS........... 16 .435 62 18 27 10 2 4 0 4
A.J. Reed-UK.............. 12 .426 47 13 20 23 1 1 5 6
Will Maddox-UT............ 11 .420 50 9 21 9 3 1 0 3
Jordan Ebert-AU........... 10 .417 36 5 15 4 1 0 0 2
Justin Shafer-UF.......... 14 .415 53 10 22 7 9 0 1 5
Vince Conde-VU............ 14 .413 46 14 19 8 3 0 3 5
Dylan Kelly-MO............ 8 .409 22 2 9 3 0 0 0 1
Nelson Ward-UG............ 12 .407 54 9 22 8 2 2 0 4
Raph Rhymes-LS............ 13 .396 48 12 19 10 5 0 0 7
Tyler Spoon-AR............ 12 .391 46 7 18 15 1 0 2 6

Only 2 batters rank in the top 5 in BA, HR and RBI and those are LB Dantzler (3rd, 4th and 2nd) and Stuart Turner (4th, 2nd and 4th). Also add A.J. Reed (7th, 1st and 1st) and Alex Detz (1st, 3rd and 8th) as honorable mentions.

A lot of really good hitters in the SEC, but by years end, I fully expect Frazier to lead in average.

The most important offensive statistic and really the only one that matters is run production. Something about which team scores the most runs wins the game and all.
