not AD for life, but paid like an AD for life. I think the spouse gets it or a percentage if he dies, for the rest of her life as well
ETA: part of the reason people suspect he will be stepping down soon. I think it all depends on Gougue(sp?) though

I'm going to sponsor a bill that states that he must remain as AD to get AD pay.
