Here is mine.

1. Frazier- SS
2. Bradford- CF
3. Detz- DH
4. Rea- 1B
5. Renfroe- RF
6. Henderson- LF
7. Slauter- C
8. Norris- 3B
9. Pirtle- 2B

Fri.- Lindgren
Sat.- Woodruff
Sun.- Graveman
Tues.- Cox

A few things to note:

I wish I knew what Detz could do at 2B and Flair could do at 3B. Cohen obviously knows something about both of those guys since they aren't drawing starts there.

2B- I literally have no idea who we should start here. No one has stepped up and took the spot. I guess since we don't know if Detz can play it, I would put Pirtle here. He has looked the most solid there defensively even though he booted one this weekend that cost us a run. He only has 24 ABs so far too, so that really isn't enough to gauge if he can hit or not.

Pitching rotation- I don't think Woodruff is quite sharp enough yet to be our ace. In a month or so he may be, and with the way Lindgren has been mowing you have to leave him there.

I'd be okay with Cox being our Sunday guy. Right now, I'd stick with the senior captain who has the SEC experience and is battle tested.

If Henderson struggles at any point, I believe that Robson and Armstrong are ready to take this spot.

I'm just ready to get this SEC party started.

Yeah I am guessing Detz must look awful out there during practice. Sucks...would be nice to put him at second and have Porter as the DH.

Not bad. I'd like to see Detz play 3rd before I threw him over there.

Looks good. I'm guessing you unintentionally left off Ross Mitchell, huh?

He can add him to his 25 man travel roster, because he counted CT twice.

I didn't catch that.

I can't really disagree with either of your suggestions. Like you mentioned, we have got to have someone step up at 2nd base. If Hann or Pirtle get in a groove at the plate, we will have a very solid lineup 1-9.

Only thing about your lineup, Im not sure i would go 3 leftys then 3 rightys in the batting order.

I forgot about that.

Your 3-5 is probably better. Even though, I think Rea will always be 4 hole. So you have to flop Detz and Renfroe.

Probably will depend on if the other team starts a lefty, and how good their lefties in the pen are.

9. Pirtle- 2B

2B - I don't understand the big deal about 2B. Pirtle has been pretty solid from what I've seen in the field and, if I am not mistaken, he has also sent three balls out of the yard. To reiterate, he only has 24 AB's so let that one ride for now.

Pitching Rotation - Lindgren has been stellar thus far, which gives me no reason to suggest we go any other place with the ball on Friday nights. Graveman has also been above average on Sundays and I think he is a solid book end to the rotation. The saturday starter is up for grabs. However, there is no way would I throw Woodruff to the wolves in that spot yet. Until he has a few solid outings with no problems you have to leave him pitching on Tuesdays, either starting or from the pen. I think Mitchell is a good pitcher, he has just had a few struggles as of late. Ben Bracewell has been outstanding in a relief role to this point, so I'm not sure how open the coaches are to putting him back in the rotation.

I think Henderson is there for the long haul in LF, which I am more than OK with. I agree with the posts before in that I wish there was some way to get Detz in the field so that we could see Trey Porter with a few more AB's at DH.

VENT [ON] OFF
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KEEP SAM FROST ON THE 17'ING BENCH.

I don't know what to do with Woodruff. Maybe try him out of the pen for a little while on Tuesdays if we get a solid lead?

Our next two Tuesday games are actually against pretty solid ball clubs (Austin Peay and South Alabama). We can't afford having him meltdown against them.

So much for our "easy nonconference schedule" huh?
Next 3 midweeks are RPI #14, @#13, #7 in Pearl.

No one should be bitching at us for playing an easy non conference to begin with. Our in conference schedule is absolutely brutal.

Detz should be playing 2b. That position is a gaping hole in our lineup. He has played MIF his entire life.

Mitchell needs to be out of the rotation immediately. He has almost as many walks as IP, that will soon result in a horrific game. We have plenty of other options.

2B is cursed. Detz SHOULD play there (considered it's fricking easy as shite to play) because of his bat

I would like Detz to play 2b too..but at this point, it doesn't seem likely.

He has a great OBP, so he definitely needs to be in the lineup.

It infuriates me that Detz doesn't start every game. He should be penciled in the 3 or 4 hole without question.

Cohen has fallen in love with Pirtle and Robson.

He has the opposite syndrome of Polk, he just can't stop tinkering.

Why are you calling me out on this?

Did you fail to see above where you listed him as our Friday starter?
