What are you implying with this thread?

I'm not implying anything young man. I am clearly stating that the SEC Home Offices need to get out of Birmingham.

I travel to B-ham frequently. I usually stay down in Five Points, nice little old hotel down there that I've done business with for so many years that we know each other well. I like parts of the city - it's the perfect place for UAB, etc., but it is no longer the perfect place for the SEC Home Offices.

The city is in serious trouble. Franklin County and the City of Birmingham have defaulted on so many bills they owe, to the tune of billions of dollars, and left so many contractors hanging - they've actually caused businesses to go out of business simply by not paying private companies what they owe them in a timely manner post tornadoes.

They have serious leadership problems and will continue to have serious leadership problems which will continue to translate into serious fiscal problems far beyond the accepted norm in the country these days.

The city is well on the way to be a Southern version of Detroit and the time to get out is now, not later. Make the move now, chalk it up to a need to find a more neutral home within the conference footprint, whatever, but just get out now so that you are not bailing on the city when the proverbial crap finally does hit the fan.

I'll ignore your condescension and ask you where they should move to.

Then I'll give you plenty of reasons why they shouldn't move there.

We could do this all day.

What's that got to do with Birmingham or Jefferson County?

This is far from the truth.
