To look at it from a completely unscientific, but logical standpoint:

Stubhub -- lowest 2013 season ticket resale price:
Texas -- $586
Texas A&M -- $999

Stubhub -- lowest price for 'biggest' home game
Texas (vs Tech) -- $117
Texas A&M (vs 'Bama) -- $375

So looking at the current market forces, would have to say A&M is at least the much more sought-after ticket. Add in the recent recruiting class outcome, and there's no real question as to where the programs stack up right now.

A&M's looking much more '85-'95 than '96-'06.

Texas historically owns the state--but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that A&M is poised to take over VERY quickly.

2013 & 2014 seasons will determine much.

An interesting metric, FrankWhite'56. I was curious and looked up highest Stubhub prices for the home games of the respective schools as well.

Texas A&M (v Bama) = $4,980.00 USD
Texas (v KSU) = $648.00 USD

Certainly the opponents are variables to be considered as well; but supply/demand speaks for itself.
