I just remember Nick Saban mentioning Chris Black by name at Crimson Caravan. He only does that after a player has graduated or if a player really sticks out in his mind. Cooper was mentioned, too, but only after Black was brought up.

I think we can both agree that, at this point, Cooper is a proven commodity and Black is a question mark. Truly elite WRs are a rare breed; if we signed 2 of them in the same class, then no one will be happier than me, but I'm going to wait until there's more proof than 1 catch in a practice game and 1 mention at CC.
