I understand exactly what you mean. I just don't like the general attitude of bashing Texags. Texags is Texags, it's a victim of its own success in a lot of ways because of the size of the site and diversity of forums. Thus you end up with some extremes and unfortunately some of the extremes are on the most "public" portions of the site. Personally I think Rivalries is funny and don't take it seriously at all, it's a half step up from a Fark board. They barely even have anyone who isn't an A&M fan on that forum anymore though. I had hoped when they started "SEC Country" it would develop into a hybrid of the Rant but they just let it become a much lesser version of Rivalries and no one goes there.

I am no fan of the drama or many other things on Texags though, there is still a lot more good than bad though. I've been to all the other A&M sites at different times but still prefer Texags just because of the traffic volume and content. Chicken won't put up with the over the top stuff here though most of the time when someone does something stupid on the Rant they get gang tackled in a hurry.
